Council Directive 65/65/EEC of 26 January 1965 on the approximation of provisions laid down by Law, Regulation or Administrative Action relating to proprietary medicinal products · European Union

Next to the name of the proprietary product, a statement of the active constituents expressed qualitatively and quantitatively per dose-unit or as a percentage, according to the pharmaceutical form. The international non-proprietary names recommended by the World Health Organisation shall be used wherever they exist.
