Council Directive 76/768/EEC of 27 July 1976 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to cosmetic products · European Union
In accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 10 the following shall be determined: - the methods of analysis necessary for checking the composition of cosmetic products, the criteria of microbiological and chemical purity for cosmetic products and methods for checking compliance with those criteria.
