Council Directive 89/556/EEC of 25 September 1989 on animal health conditions governing intra-Community trade in and importation from third countries of embryos of domestic animals of the bovine species · European Union

An embryo collection team may appear on the list provided for in paragraph 1 only if: it carries out its activities in one of the countries or parts thereof on the list referred to in Article 7 (1); it fulfils the requirements of Annex A; it has been officially approved for exports to the Community by the veterinary services of the third country concerned; and (d) it is subject to inspections at least twice a year by an official veterinarian of the third country concerned.
