Council Directive 90/675/EEC of 10 December 1990 laying down the principles governing the organization of veterinary checks on products entering the Community from third countries · European Union

'identity check` means verification, by visual inspection only, for consistency between the documents or certificates and the products and for the presence of the stamps and marks which must appear on the products in accordance with Community rules or in the case of products trade in which has not been harmonized at Community level, in accordance with the national legislation relevant to the various cases provided for by this Directive;
