Amendments to the Annexes 1. Strictly technical adjustments to Annex I as a result of technical progress, changes in international regulations or specifications and new findings in the area covered by this Directive shall be adopted in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 17 of Directive 89/391/EEC. 2. Annex II may be amended only in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 118a of the Treaty.
