Die Emission von SOx, das in der Aufschluß- und Kalzinierungsphase bei der Herstellung von Titandioxid anfällt, wird ab 1. Januar 1995 auf einen Hoechstwert von 10 kg SO2-Äquivalent pro Tonne erzeugtes Titandioxid begrenzt.
