Council Directive 96/48/EC of 23 July 1996 on the interoperability of the trans-European high-speed rail system · European Union
In the absence of any European specifications and without prejudice to Article 20 (5), Member States shall inform the other Member States and the Commission of the standards and technical specifications in use in order to implement the essential requirements.
