6.4.21.5. The initial strength test for packagings designed to contain at least 0,1 kg of uranium hexafluoride shall be conducted by means of a hydraulic test with an internal pressure of 1,38 MPa (13,8 bar). But if the test pressure is less than 2,76 MPa (27,6 bar), the design shall require multilateral approval. For the periodic inspections, any other equivalent nondestructive examination procedure recognized by the competent authority may be applied.
