Article 10

Directive 98/30/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 June 1998 concerning common rules for the internal market in natural gas · European Union

1. Each distribution undertaking shall operate, maintain and develop under economic conditions a secure, reliable and efficient system, with due regard to the environment. 2. In any event, the distribution undertaking must not discriminate between system users or classes of system users, particularly in favour of its related undertakings. 3. Each distribution undertaking shall provide any other distribution undertaking, and/or any transmission and/or storage undertaking with sufficient information to ensure that the transport of gas may take place in a manner compatible with the secure and efficient operation of the interconnected system.
