Article 3

Council Directive 98/56/EC of 20 July 1998 on the marketing of propagating material of ornamental plants · European Union

1. Suppliers may market propagating material only if it meets the requirements laid down in this Directive. 2. Paragraph 1 shall not apply to propagating material intended for: trials or scientific purposes, selection work, or the conservation of genetic diversity. 3. Detailed rules for the application of paragraph 2 may be adopted in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 17.
