Council Directive 98/58/EC of 20 July 1998 concerning the protection of animals kept for farming purposes · European Union
A Member State in whose territory an inspection is made shall provide the veterinary experts from the Commission with any assistance they may require in the performance of their tasks. The outcome of the checks made must be discussed with the competent authority of the Member State concerned before a final report is drawn up and circulated.
