Council Directive 98/58/EC of 20 July 1998 concerning the protection of animals kept for farming purposes · European Union
Where the procedure laid down in this Article is to be followed, the matter shall be referred without delay to the Standing Veterinary Committee set up by Directive 68/361/EEC (10), hereinafter referred to as 'the Committee`, by its chairman acting either on his own initiative or at the request of a Member State.
