Council Regulation (EC) No 1257/1999 of 17 May 1999 on support for rural development from the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund (EAGGF) and amending and repealing certain Regulations · European Union

Support shall be granted to those persons ultimately responsible for financing the investment in enterprises for which economic viability can be demonstrated, and which comply with minimum standards regarding the environment, hygiene and animal welfare.
