Council Regulation (EC) No 1257/1999 of 17 May 1999 on support for rural development from the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund (EAGGF) and amending and repealing certain Regulations · European Union

Save as otherwise provided in this Title, Articles 87 to 89 of the Treaty shall apply to aid granted by Member States for measures to support rural development. However, Articles 87 to 89 of the Treaty shall not apply to financial contributions provided by Member States for measures subject to Community support within the scope of Article 36 of the Treaty in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation.
