Partial sums committed for operations or programmes approved by the Commission before 1 January 1994, but in respect of which no application for final payment has been received by 31 March 2001, shall be automatically decommitted no later than 30 September 2001, giving rise to the repayment of amounts unduly paid, without prejudice to operations or programmes which have been suspended on account of legal proceedings. Partial sums committed for operations or programmes approved by the Commission between 1 January 1994 and 31 December 1999, but in respect of which no application for final payment has been received by 31 March 2003, shall be automatically decommitted no later than 30 September 2003, giving rise to the repayment of amounts unduly paid, without prejudice to operations or programmes which have been suspended on account of legal proceedings.
