Mit Ausnahme der in Anhang VII aufgeführten Verwendungszwecke wird der Einsatz von Brandschutzeinrichtungen und Feuerlöschern mit Halonen bis zum 31. Dezember 2003 eingestellt, und die Halone werden nach Artikel 16 zurückgewonnen.
