Directive 2001/16/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 March 2001 on the interoperability of the trans-European conventional rail system · European Union

Where a European specification is not yet available at the time of adoption of a TSI and compliance with this specification is an essential precondition to guarantee interoperability, the TSI may refer to the most advanced version available of the draft European specification that has to be complied with or that incorporates all or part of that draft.
