Article 40

Derogations Community institutions and bodies shall ensure that there are transparent procedures governing the way in which they may override the elimination of the presentation of calling-line identification: INDEPENDENT SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY: THE EUROPEAN DATA PROTECTION SUPERVISOR on a temporary basis, upon application of a user requesting the tracing of malicious or nuisance calls; on a per-line basis for organisational entities dealing with emergency calls, for the purpose of answering such calls.
