Article 5

Directive 2002/24/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 March 2002 relating to the type-approval of two or three-wheel motor vehicles and repealing Council Directive 92/61/EEC (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

1. The competent authority in a Member State shall complete the type-approval form contained in Annex III for all types of vehicles in respect of which it conducts type-approval, and in addition shall enter the test results under the relevant headings on the form attached to the vehicle approval form, the model for which is given in Annex VII. 2. The competent authority in a Member State shall complete the type-approval form contained in an annex or an appendix to each relevant separate Directive, for each type of system, separate technical unit or component in respect of which it conducts type-approval. 3. Type-approval certificates of a system, separate technical unit or component shall be numbered in accordance with the method described in Annex V, Part A.
