The Union and its Member States shall continue to seek agreements on global measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from aviation, aligned with the objectives of Regulation (EU) 2021/1119 and of the Paris Agreement. In the light of any such agreements, the Commission shall consider whether amendments to this Directive as it applies to aircraft operators are necessary.
