Directive 2004/109/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 December 2004 on the harmonisation of transparency requirements in relation to information about issuers whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market and amending Directive 2001/34/EC · European Union

In order to take account of technical developments in financial markets, to take account of developments in information and communication technology and to ensure the uniform application of paragraphs 1, 2 and 3, the Commission shall adopt implementing measures in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 27(2). The Commission shall in particular specify: minimum standards for the dissemination of regulated information, as referred to in paragraph 1; minimum standards for the central storage mechanism as referred to in paragraph 2. The Commission may also specify and update a list of media for the dissemination of information to the public.
