Regulation (EC) No 851/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 april 2004 establishing a European Centre for disease prevention and control · European Union

The Centre shall be managed by its director, who shall be completely independent in the performance in his/her duties, without prejudice to the respective competencies of the Commission and the Management Board.
