Article 20

The Commission shall consult the European Food Safety Authority on matters falling within the scope of this Regulation whenever necessary and, in particular: before proposing to modify the specific requirements concerning post-mortem inspection procedures laid down in Section IV of Annex I; before proposing to modify the rules of Annex I, Section IV, Chapter IX, on meat from animals in which post-mortem inspection has revealed lesions indicating infection with brucellosis or tuberculosis; and before proposing implementing measures on the matters referred to in Article 18, points (5) to (15).
