2005/717/EC: Commission Decision of 13 October 2005 amending for the purposes of adapting to the technical progress the Annex to Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (notified under document number C(2005) 3754) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

The Annex to Directive 2002/95/EC is amended as follows: The title is replaced by the following: ‘Applications of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) which are exempted from the requirements of Article 4(1)’; The following point 9a is added: ‘9a. DecaBDE in polymeric applications;’ The following point 9b is added: ‘9b. Lead in lead-bronze bearing shells and bushes’.
