Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

Access to training as a midwife shall be contingent upon one of the following conditions: completion of at least the first 10 years of general school education for route I, or possession of evidence of formal qualifications as a nurse responsible for general care referred to in Annex V, point 5.2.2 for route II.
