Directive 2006/12/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 April 2006 on waste (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union
The following shall be excluded from the scope of this Directive: gaseous effluents emitted into the atmosphere; where they are already covered by other legislation: radioactive waste; waste resulting from prospecting, extraction, treatment and storage of mineral resources and the working of quarries; animal carcases and the following agricultural waste: faecal matter and other natural, non‐dangerous substances used in farming; waste waters, with the exception of waste in liquid form; decommissioned explosives.
