Article 107

Directive 2006/48/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 June 2006 relating to the taking up and pursuit of the business of credit institutions (recast) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

For the purposes of applying this Section, the term ‘credit institution’ shall cover the following: a credit institution, including its branches in third countries; and any private or public undertaking, including its branches, which meets the definition of ‘credit institution’ and has been authorised in a third country.
