Council Directive 2006/88/EC of 24 October 2006 on animal health requirements for aquaculture animals and products thereof, and on the prevention and control of certain diseases in aquatic animals · European Union

Member States shall remain free to take more stringent measures in the field covered by Article 13 of Chapter II, and Chapter V, provided that such measures do not affect trade with other Member States.
