Council Directive 2006/88/EC of 24 October 2006 on animal health requirements for aquaculture animals and products thereof, and on the prevention and control of certain diseases in aquatic animals · European Union

For the purposes of this Directive, the following definitions shall also apply: the technical definitions laid down in Annex I; as appropriate, the definitions laid down respectively in: Articles 2 and 3 of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 January 2002 laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety OJ L 31, 1.2.2002, p. 1. ; Article 2 of Regulation (EC) No 852/2004; Article 2 of Regulation (EC) No 853/2004; Article 2 of Regulation (EC) No 882/2004.
