Council Directive 2006/88/EC of 24 October 2006 on animal health requirements for aquaculture animals and products thereof, and on the prevention and control of certain diseases in aquatic animals · European Union

Each Member State shall designate its competent authorities for the purposes of this Directive and notify the Commission thereof. The competent authorities shall operate and perform their duties in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 882/2004.
