Council Directive 2006/88/EC of 24 October 2006 on animal health requirements for aquaculture animals and products thereof, and on the prevention and control of certain diseases in aquatic animals · European Union

Member States shall adopt and publish, not later than 1 May 2008, the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive before 14 December 2008 They shall forthwith inform the Commission thereof. They shall apply those provisions from 1 August 2008. When they are adopted by Member States, these measures shall contain a reference to this Directive or shall be accompanied by such reference on the occasion of their official publication. The methods of making such reference shall be laid down by Member States.
