Directive 2006/123/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2006 on services in the internal market · European Union
Member States shall, in cooperation with the Commission, take accompanying measures to encourage professional bodies, as well as chambers of commerce and craft associationsand consumer associations, in their territory to cooperate at Community level in order to promote the quality of service provision, especially by making it easier to assess the competence of a provider.
