Regulation (EC) No 166/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 January 2006 concerning the establishment of a European Pollutant Release and Transfer Register and amending Council Directives 91/689/EEC and 96/61/EC (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

The guidance document for implementation of the European PRTR shall address in particular details on the following: reporting procedures; the data to be reported; quality assurance and assessment; indication of type of withheld data and reasons why they were withheld in the case of confidential data; reference to internationally approved release determination and analytical methods, sampling methodologies; indication of parent companies; coding of activities according to Annex I to this Regulation and to Directive 96/61/EC.
