(6) A European Pollutant Emission Register (hereinafter ‘EPER’) was established by Commission Decision 2000/479/EC OJ L 192, 28.7.2000, p. 36. . The Protocol builds on the same principles as EPER, but goes beyond, by including reporting on more pollutants, more activities, releases to land, releases from diffuse sources and off-site transfers.
