(10) The exemption for electronic money, as defined by Directive 2000/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council OJ L 275, 27.10.2000, p. 39. , covers electronic money irrespective of whether the issuer of such money benefits from a waiver under Article 8 of that Directive.
