Framework Directive
Directive 2007/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 September 2007 establishing a framework for the approval of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles (Framework Directive) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

Where reference is made to a separate directive or regulation, an approval issued under the following UNECE Regulations (taking account of the scope (14), and the amendment to each of the UNECE Regulations listed below) shall be recognised as an alternative to an EC type-approval granted under the relevant separate directive or regulation in the table of Part I.
