Framework Directive

Directive 2007/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 September 2007 establishing a framework for the approval of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles (Framework Directive) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

6. Each part or piece of equipment authorised in application of this Article shall be appropriately marked. The Commission shall establish marking and packaging requirements, as well as the model and numbering system of the certificate referred to in paragraph 5.
