Bord Gáis Éireann Other entities that may be licensed to undertake the activity of natural gas distribution or transmission by the Commission for Energy Regulation pursuant to the provisions of the Gas Acts 1976 to 2002. Entities licensed under the Electricity Regulation Act 1999 which as operators of ‘Combined Heat and Power Plants’ are engaged in the distribution of heat.
