Council Directive 2008/8/EC of 12 February 2008 amending Directive 2006/112/EC as regards the place of supply of services · European Union

(2) The proper functioning of the internal market requires the amendment of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2006 on the common system of value added tax OJ L 347, 11.12.2006, p. 1. Directive as last amended by Directive 2007/75/EC (OJ L 346, 29.12.2007, p. 13). as regards the place of supply of services, following the Commission's strategy of modernisation and simplification of the operation of the common VAT system.
