DIRECTIVE 2008/48/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 23 April 2008 on credit agreements for consumers and repealing Council Directive 87/102/EEC · European Union

►C1 1. Before 11 June 2010 ◄ Member States shall adopt and publish the provisions necessary to comply with this Directive. They shall forthwith inform the Commission thereof. They shall apply those provisions ►C1 from 11 June 2010 ◄ . ▼M3 By 1 July 2018 Member States shall adopt and publish the provisions necessary to comply with the third subparagraph of Article 5(1) and shall communicate them to the Commission. They shall apply those provisions from 1 July 2018. ▼B When Member States adopt these provisions, they shall contain a reference to this Directive or be accompanied by such reference on the occasion of their official publication. The methods of making such reference shall be laid down by Member States.
