Directive 2008/57/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 June 2008 on the interoperability of the rail system within the Community (Recast) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

Member States may grant authorisations to place in service a series of vehicles. To that end, the national safety authorities shall notify the applicant of the procedure to be followed.
