Directive 2008/57/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 June 2008 on the interoperability of the rail system within the Community (Recast) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

In the case of vehicles placed in service in accordance with Article 22 but not covered by paragraph 1, Member States shall decide if additional authorisations are necessary on their territory. In this case, paragraphs 3 to 7 shall apply.
