Directive 2008/57/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 June 2008 on the interoperability of the rail system within the Community (Recast) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

In the case of vehicles that have been authorised to be placed in service in one Member State in accordance with Article 21(12) or Article 24, other Member States may decide in accordance with this Article whether additional authorisations to place in service are necessary on their territory.
