Directive 2008/57/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 June 2008 on the interoperability of the rail system within the Community (Recast) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

‘existing rail system’ means the structure composed of lines and fixed installations of the existing rail system plus the vehicles of all categories and origin travelling on that infrastructure;
