Article 22b › 6

Member States shall ensure that the competent authority: (a) receives applications for the registration of producers referred to in paragraph 2 via an electronic data-processing system, the details of which shall be made available on the competent authority’s website; (b) grants registrations and provides a registration number within a maximum period of 12 weeks from the date that the information laid down in paragraph 4 is provided; (c) is able to lay down detailed arrangements with respect to the requirements and process of registration without adding substantive requirements further to those laid down in paragraph 4; (d) is able to charge cost-based and proportionate fees to producers for the processing of applications referred to in paragraph 2.
