personnel responsible for the release of a product, part or appliance after maintenance may be required to hold an appropriate certificate (personnel certificate); the capability of maintenance training organisations to discharge the responsibilities associated with their privileges in relation to the issuance of the certificates referred to in point (f) may be recognised by the issuance of an approval.
