6.2. Protection of cargo and mail

Cargo and mail to be carried on an aircraft shall be protected from unauthorised interference from the point at which security controls are applied until the departure of the aircraft on which it is to be carried. Cargo and mail that are not adequately protected from unauthorised interference after security controls have been applied shall be screened.
