Article 51

The Protocol on the Privileges and Immunities of the European Communities and a specific Regulation to be adopted on the basis of Article 16 of the Protocol on the Privileges and Immunities of the European Communities shall apply to the Director and Deputy Directors of Europol and to Europol staff. The Protocol on the Privileges and Immunities of the European Communities shall apply to Europol. The Kingdom of the Netherlands and the other Member States shall agree that liaison officers seconded from the other Member States and members of their families shall enjoy such privileges and immunities as are necessary for the proper performance of the tasks of liaison officers at Europol.
