CHAPTER XI

The Member States shall ensure that their national law conforms to this Decision by the date of application of this Decision. This Decision replaces the Europol Convention and the Protocol on the privileges and immunities of Europol, the members of its organs, the Deputy Directors and employees of Europol as of the date of application of this Decision. Unless otherwise provided in this Decision, all measures implementing the Europol Convention shall be repealed with effect from the date of application of this Decision. This Decision shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. It shall apply from 1 January 2010 or the date of application of the Regulation referred to in Article 51(1), whichever is the later. However, the second subparagraph of Article 57(2) and Articles 59, 60 and 61 shall apply from the date of entry into force of this Decision.
