The Commission may, either directly or through the competent national authorities, organise refresher courses or meetings for personnel in the Member States, in particular, personnel responsible for the veterinary checks referred to in Article 33. Such refresher courses or meetings may, according to availability, be open, at the request of the competent authorities and after the Commission has agreed, to personnel from third countries which have concluded cooperation agreements with the Community in the field of veterinary checks and to veterinary science graduates to extend their training in the area of Community rules.
